The Morris Family is the oldest established family owned funeral home in the Miami Valley area. We opened our first funeral home in 1886 in Bellbrook, Ohio and we now have two locations in the Miami Valley Area. When you call us you are entrusting your loved one with one of our family members who not only own, but actually work at our funeral homes. You do not get just an employee of a large chain that is managed out of state or out of the country.
Over the past several years, large multi-national organizations have been purchasing funeral homes at an alarming rate. Many local funeral homes have sold out to national and even international conglomerates. These funeral service conglomerates often keep the original family name on their businesses because they know that at your greatest time of need you are more likely to turn to a local family you feel you can trust than to a national chain you know nothing about. They are large corporations that are publicly traded on the stock exchange. This makes them responsible to their stockholders and board of directors to continually grow profits year after year. As a result you end up paying more money and receive less value for your funeral service even though they advertise they have lower rates.

We can produce a personal tribute DVD that can be played at the service and online. Simply provide us with the photographs you want to include and we will transform them into a wonderful video celebration of your treasured memories.
Sharing Service Details
We reduce the stress of contacting those who need the details of the service for your loved one. We post the dates and times of the service as part of the online memorial on our website. You can then either share the memorial on your Facebook or Twitter page or copy the details from the site into an email or text. Both options give you the peace of mind that you have provided the necessary information to those who need it.
