William E. Aker, age 91, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Arthur Aker and Thelma (Middleton) Borton. Bill graduated from Fairborn Bath High School and married his late wife of nearly 60 years, Jacqueline (Slaven) Aker. Bill retired as a routeman for the former American Automatic Vending. He loved all of his sports and even attained his PGA golf card.
He is survived by his children, Sandra (Bruce) Johnson, Sam Aker, Greg Aker, and Debbie (Doug) Wright; grandchildren, Matthew (Tricia), Scott (Libby), Billy (Stephanie), and Danny; 9 great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents and wife, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, James Aker, and daughter-in-law, Sheryl Aker.
A Private family graveside will be observed at a later date. Morris Sons Funeral Home in Fairborn is honored to assist the family.
