Warren A. Leaming, age 80 of Xenia, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton with his family by his side. He was born in Spring Valley, OH to the late Warren H. & Laura (Stiles) Leaming. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Patty F. (Fugett) Leaming in 2016. He retired from the Greene County Highway Engineering Department; served more than 40 years with the Spring Valley Volunteer Fire Department retiring as Fire Chief; he was also a lifetime member of the New Burlington Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his 3 sons and daughters-in-law: Jeff & Gabrielle of Xenia, Joe & Darlene of Spring Valley, Mark & Kim of Xenia; 4 grandchildren: Christopher Leaming, Brian Leaming and Shavon Stone, Joshua Leaming and Catherine & Allen Stiffler; 5 great-grandchildren: Colton Leaming, Reese Leaming, Austin Stiffler, Kendall Stiffler and Savannah Benning; a sister, Mary Morris of Xenia; Sister-in-law: Arlene Thompson of Springfield; Extended family members – Susan Nicholas, Emily Sturgeon and Bailey Sturgeon; Numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering with Pastor Dar Hensley officiating. Family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial to follow at Spring Valley Cemetery.
