Virginia E. Benson age 95, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. She left this world and went on to her heavenly home as promised.
Virginia was born and raised in Bracken County, Kentucky. Her parents Leland and Mabel Brothers and sister Wanda (Nick) Youngman preceeded her in death.
Virginia was married to her husband William R. Benson for 72 years but knew each other since they were 12 years old. They were married in Augusta, Kentucky, December 11, 1948.
They have three daughters. Bonnie (John) Warner of Bellbrook, Ohio, Debi Benson of Dayton, Ohio and Brenda (Bill) Dodson of Spring City, Tennessee. Four grandchildren Jennifer Warner, Keith (Errin) Warner, Tim Dodson and Chris (Sydney) Dodson. They also have four great grandchildren. Brooke Loehrig, Paige Adkirson, Caleb and Jaden Warner.
She was a faithful member and servant to her church, Faith Baptist Church. She worked diligently within her church ministries and helping those in need.
Virginia loved her home in Beavercreek, Ohio that her husband William built in 1959-1960.
She loved cooking, flowers, and always had a vegetable garden and fruit trees.
She was known as Ginny to her friends and was loved dearly by her family.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Graveside service to follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek.
