Thomas "Tom" Richard Blaschak

Blaschak, Thomas Richard, age 53 of Spring Valley, OH passed peacefully with his family by his side, Monday, November 30, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital.  He is preceded in death by his parents: Richard “Pap Pap” in 2019 and Janet (Drager) Blaschak in 2009.  He is survived by his beloved wife: Kimberli “Kimi” (Goodall) Blaschak; son Alex T. Blaschak and daughter Brittney S. Blaschak, a sister: Cindy Stare of Pennsylvania; close family friends: Kyle Hohl and Courtney (David) Stephenson along with other family members and friends.  Tom graduated from Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown, PA, University of Pittsburgh & University of Dayton School of Law obtaining his J.D.  He ran a successful law practice for over 23 years in Dayton.  Tom loved golfing, playing video poker, was a Caesar’s 7 Stars member, was a long time member of Sugar Valley Golf Club, Dayton Bar Association and he loved to have “Rocket Fuel” with his family and friends. Tom had many accomplishments in his life, but one he was especially honored and proud of, was to have officiated at Courtney & David Stephenson’s wedding.  Tom was dedicated to his family, was a wonderful husband, father, son and friend to many. It goes without saying, that he will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.  He will be remembered for his kind heart, great sense of humor and being a good friend. Tom’s family will receive friends from 3 -6 p.m. Friday, December 4, at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering.  A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 5th in Grandview Cemetery, 801 Millcreek Rd., Johnstown, PA.  Condolences may be sent to www.morris-sons.com.
