Robert Lee Comer

Comer, Robert Lee age 72 of Kettering, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 at Jamestown Place Health and Rehab.  He is preceded in death by his parents: Roy A. & Ruth E. (Swisher) Comer; a sister Patricia Siehl, and a brother & sister-in-law: Ron & Vickey Comer.  He is survived by his loving daughters Kimberly Bahl and Khristina (Bobby) Shackleford, a sister Debbie Comer, 2 brothers Steve Comer, Mike (Katie) Comer and a brother-in-law John Siehl. 5 grandchildren: David (Nicci) Shackleford, Danielle Shackleford, Jack Shackleford, Shivan Bahl, Oshan Bahl and 1 great-grandchild: Madison Shackleford along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.  He attended Ascension Catholic Church, loved traveling, Frickers on Woodman Drive, the Moose in Xenia and going to the casino.  He especially enjoyed his sports, the Reds, Bengals, and the Buckeyes, were at the top of his list, and he loved being where the party was with friends and family.  He was an avid collector of 50’s Rock & Roll. Elvis, Buddy Holly and Ricky Nelson were among his favorites. He always had a great sense of humor especially towards the latter part of his life. One of his favorite things to say was “This youngster is a world class beauty”.  His family was very important to him, he loved them dearly, and they will miss him more than words can say.
