Pamela Kay Groves, 68, of Kettering passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 22, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents; Walther and Wilmuth Jean; husband, Bob; and her son, Scott. Pam is survived by her children; Jason (Amber), Beckie (Chris); granddaughters, Emma, Kylie and Allison; sister, Debbie (Bill); longtime best friend, Susan Stone along with countless cherished friends.
She was a nurse at Kettering Memorial Hospital for 42 years. Not only was she able to touch and improve the lives of others through nursing, she inspired many simply by being her warm, kind and loving self.
She was an avid collector of Longaberger and all types of country collectibles. She loved music especially country, her favorite artists included Lawrence Welk and Johnny Mathis, who she always listened to as she laid down to sleep. She was a Boy Scout and Girl Scout Leader and actively served on medical staffs for countless scouting events. She loved long drives in the country, lunches with her girlfriends and bargain hunting. What she loved the most was spending time with her family. She will be loved and missed by all. Please join us in celebrating Pam’s life.
Family will receive friends 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME 1771 E. Dorothy Lane - Kettering, OH. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the funeral home with Pastor Ward Tilton officiating. Burial to follow at Sabina Cemetery in Sabina OH.
