Norma Jean Friesen Obituary

Norma Jean (Stone) Friesen, age 88 of Kettering, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Saturday, October 10, 2020, after a long bout with cancer. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Roy and Ethel (Welch) Stone, a brother, Melvin Stone, and three sisters, Juanita Critchlow, Susan Blakely, and Mary Jane Kunce. She is survived by her beloved husband Lorrin Dale Friesen, three children, Debra (Michael) Salter, Glen (Carol) Friesen, Carol (Jim) Schultz; grandchildren Joel Spencer, Kate Spencer, Dane Schultz, Chuck Martin, Luke Friesen, Daniel Salter, Tiffany Salter, and three great-grandchildren. To Norma Jean, family was everything, all throughout her life. She loved flowers, gardening, music and dancing, cooking and baking, hummingbirds, butterflies, and all of God's creations. She saw beauty in everything around her. She loved life and everything about it. But what she loved more than anything was to laugh. She was a genuinely happy person.

There will be a private Celebration of Life for her family only at Morris Sons Funeral Home, Kettering, Ohio.
