Natalie "Dee Dee" Ann (Poorman) Cowgill

Natalie “Dee Dee” Ann (Poorman) Cowgill, age 74 of Fairborn, passed away at her residence in Port Charlotte, FL and had gone home to be with our Lord on 16 October, 2021. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl “Sonny” W. Cowgill, son of Carl A. and Mildred Cowgill of Kennett, MO. Her parents, Dale L. and Martha  L. “Martie” Poorman of Fairborn, OH.  Her brothers, Kenneth Poorman of Kettering, OH and Bruce Poorman of PA. and her daughter-in-law, Kimberly (Carter) Cowgill. She is survived by her long-time friend and life partner, Mike Kelly of Cape Coral, FL., her brother, Douglas Poorman and her children Robert A. Cowgill of Cincinnati, OH, Carl ”Bud” D. and Leah Cowgill of Perry, FL. Rita “Sis” A.  and George Zabala of Port Charlotte, FL., granddaughter Meghan E. Cowgill of Dayton, OH.  Several brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. 

Dee was a compassionate soul, putting others before herself, giving no thought to how inconvenient it may be for her. One of her favorite things was spending time with her granddaughter, making her feel special, as only grandma's can.

She was active with many interests, one being the Adult Day Care facility in her neighborhood being a big part of her day. She interacted with others, assisting and playing bingo, cards, word games, and really enjoyed participating in crafts. She was quick with a smile on her face, and maybe a snack to brighten your day.

We will miss you .  Love you. 

Family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St., Fairborn, OH.  Funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial to follow at Fairfield Cemetery, Fairborn.
