Milton Druke Petri , age 82, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy; brothers John Bruno and Robert Petri. He is survived by his devoted son, Brian (Eileen) Petri, and two granddaughters Bridget and Allie.
Milt was an avid aviation fan and in his early years he worked for McDonald Douglas Aircraft. He worked on the F-101 VooDoo aircraft, as well as the Minuteman Missile for RCA. Milt was a veteran for the Air Force Reserves as well as working for NCR and Hobart Corporation. He ended his working career by retiring from the Bellbrook School system after over thirty years.
Christ was the center of Milt’s life and he was a devoted member of Keystone Baptist Church where he was a deacon and taught Sunday school as well. He was a huge sports enthusiast for all Ohio teams and loved cheering them to victory!
Milt loved his family and friends and truly enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 28 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. Funeral service to be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
