Mary H. (Meyer) Anderson

ANDERSON, Mary H. (nee Meyer) age 87 of Dayton, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sigmund in 1986, her son, David, and her daughter, Julie. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary T. Meyer and her 2 sisters, Pauline Bashaw and Ann Lefeld. Mary is survived by her children, Mark (Karen), James, Tom, Lynette Wagner, Paul (Divina), and Michelle Gavin; grandchildren: Jeff (Melanie), Steve (Jennifer), Dawn, Aaron, David, Eric, Taylor, Ellie, Joey (Stacey), Lisa (Ryan), Brian (Priscila), Nathan (Celina), Gabriel, Danielle, Nicole, Patrick, Shannon, Eren, Brianna, Liam and Colleen; 17 great grandchildren; her brother, Donald (Max) Meyer & wife Joyce; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Mary was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic and a member of Immaculate Conception Church since the late 1950's. She enjoyed traveling with the LAMB club, (her brother and sisters), after her husbands death. Some of her best memories in her later years were the time she shared traveling with the LAMB Club around the United States. Although blind in her later years, Mary was an avid gardener who enjoyed planting and maintaining her multiple gardens. Mary was always found the good in others, and was a positive role model for all she came into contact with. She was loved by many and deeply missed by all.

Private Services at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering.  Due to Covid-19 there will be a Memorial Mass at a later date.  There will be a Graveside Service, 12 Noon, Monday, May 4th, 2020 at Calvary Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at Morris-Sons.com.
