Marie J. (Merwine) Cooperider

Cooperider, Marie J. age 90 of Fairborn passed away Mon. Feb 28, 2022.  Marie is 1 of 8 children born to Clarence J. & Viola Mae (Miller) Merwine of Galion, OH. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands: Hobart “Bud” Schindler & John Cooperider, Sr. Marie is survived by her one remaining sibling: Eileen Cameron of FL, 2 daughters: Patsy Greene, Fairborn & Pamela Sherman, Hammersville, OH; 4 grandchildren: Troy (Anita) Riley, Plain City, OH, Shawn (Tracey) Riley, Tiffin, OH; Roccho Riley, Hammersville, OH, Blaine Sherman, Jr. Cincinnati, OH; 7 great grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren. Marie worked as a waitress, baker & housekeeper for many years. She was active in her church and was well known for walking her little dog all over Fairborn.  A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Sat. Mar 5 at Maple Heights Baptist Church.
