Lucia Rolfe Earnhart

Earnhart, Lucia R. age 85 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at home, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Joseph and Helen (Morris) Rolfe.  Lucia was an original, she always brought a laugh and smile to everyone she knew.  She loved to swim and spend time in the sun by the pool or at the lake.  She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.  Lucia is survived by her son: Randall Earnhart, daughter: Tammi (Paul) Hoke; granddaughters: Brittany and Bailey Hoke; great granddaughter: Logan Justice along with many relatives and friends she made throughout the years.  In addition to her parents, Lucia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, James “Tom” Earnhart; and sister Suzanne Harris.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering, Ohio 45429. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the service at David’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton through their website at www.hospiceofdayton.org, for the wonderful care they provided to Lucia in the final years of her life.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.morris-sons.com.
