Judith Elaine “Judy” Bockrath, age 73 of Vandalia, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 at Hospice of Dayton.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Richard R. & Martha L. (Hartle) Kettering; 1 sister: Ann Cains and 1 brother-in-law: Ed Bockrath.
She is survived by her loving husband: Michael T. Bockrath, brothers-in-law: Don Cains, Vic (Mary Francis) Bockrath, Gary Bockrath; 1 sister-in-law: Shirley Bockrath. Nephews: Bill (Joey) Cains, Dan Bockrath, Dave (Ann) Bockrath, Doug (Erin) Bockrath, Bobby Bockrath. Nieces: Michelle (Bill) Baker, MaryBeth Wolf, Karen Ferguson, Chris (Brian) Hemmelgarn, Lynn (Shane) Prenat, Jennifer Bockrath, dear friend: Carol Bertholf, along with numerous great nieces & nephews, numerous Irish Setters throughout the years which they cherished as much as children.
Judy retired from Studebaker Electric, was an avid reader, loved gardening, antique shopping, enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing trips with Mike to Hamlin Lake, MI.
A special thank you to the staff at Hospice of Dayton for taking such wonderful care of Judy in her final days.
