Joann Miller Obituary

Joann Louise Miller, age 89, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at her home in Kettering, OH., surrounded by the love of her caregivers. She was born in 1930 in Dayton, OH. to the late Floyd and Ruth (Black) Pursler. Joann worked as the secretary for the Mayor of Dayton for a great many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hawkins in 2013. Joann was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed by all those who loved her, especially her friend and caregiver Robertra "Burt" Conner.

At Joann's request, she will be buried with her husband at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements in the care of Morris Sons Funeral Home in Kettering. Online condolences may be expressed at www.morris-sons.com.
