James G Soronen

James G. Soronen, 67, passed away on May 22, 2021, at his home on 21 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio, after  a valiant battle with cancer.  Jim was born on February 17, 1954, in Teaneck, NJ, to John and Edith Theresa (Dillon) Soronen, who went by "Therese". Jim is survived by his sister Joyce Hadden (Earl) of Westminster, MD; his sister Teri Andrika (John) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his  brother John Soronen (Mary) of Rotunda West,  FL; many nieces and nephews; his five cats:   Albert, Bootsie, Corky,  Itsy Bitsy, and Snuggles; any many dear friends.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jack William Soronen, his sister Hope Patricia Soronen, his sister Joli Anne Soronen Tomeo, and his niece Leanne Therese Townsend.  Jim was a member of Christ Church, 3440 Shroyer Rd, Kettering, OH. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m.- 10 a.m.,  with a service following at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at his church.  Jim will be laid to rest alongside other members of his family at George Washington Memorial Park,  Paramus, NJ.  The family would like to thank his many  friends for their support during his Illness.  The family requests that donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to the animal shelter of their choice.  Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E.
