James Oaks

James Oaks, a WWII veteran, of Kettering, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 10, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Virginia L Oaks. He is survived by two daughters, Norma Oaks Schaefer and Judy Oaks Anthony; Grandchildren, Cynthia (Matt) Mazzaro, Gregory (Tiffany) Staten, Kristen (Dallas) Lewis and Kimberly (Adam) Tonn; Ten great grandchildren, Nick & Joey Mazzaro, Reese & Eli Staten, Vann, Gemma, Joss & Witt Lewis and Gavin & McKinley Tonn. Also many friends and family.  We would also like to thank Heartland of Centerville and Crossroads Hospice for the excellent care that dad received during his stay.

Funeral Service 1:00 PM, Monday, June 15th, 2020.  at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME 1771 EAST DOROTHY LANE - KETTERING, OH. with Pastor Brian Bennett officiating.  Family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to: Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care or your favorite charity.
