Frances L. Snyder, age 94 of Kettering, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Dayton. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Gerrit Snyder in 2001. Fran & John were married April 19, 1957 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Dayton, Ohio. She is also preceded in death by her parents: Rollie B. & Florence P. (Garver) Boggs, a brother Harry A. Boggs and a sister Glennabelle Boggs (Wirshing). She is survived by a nephew: Harry Scott Boggs of Florida and nieces: Cheryl Powell of Arizona, Terri (Roger) Harvey of California, Kathy “Katie” (John) Klemas of Utah. 6 great-nieces: Mindy Belford & Tracy Hernandez both of Arizona, Kendra Klemas of Utah, Charity Wilkins of Colorado, Jill Wirthlen & Megan Harvey both of California, ; 4 great nephews: Brent Caldwell of Ohio, Keith Klemas & Kyle Harvey both of Utah, Ryan Harvey of California,10 or more great-great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many dear friends including Millie Moore, Nancy Cash, Sara Fannin, Barbara Gurdgell, Carol (Karl) Hoffer, their family: Joe Ott and Tom (Elaine) Ott, Luke Ott, Alex (Rachael) Ott, Melanie Ott, Traven & Kamden. and so many more. Fran was a member of the Rebekah Lodges since the age of 18 and a member of the Dayton Presbyterian Church. Fran & her mother attended lodge together. She also volunteered for church and community group events. For many years, she had a routine of morning walks at the mall with friends, then enjoying coffee together. Private services were held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering, with a private visitation one hour prior to the service.
