Frances Gemma Daubert [May 30, 1928 – November 1, 2019] was born in Manhattan, one of three children, with an older sister & a younger brother. Her parents immigrated to the United States from Italy at a young age. The recital of the rosary was a daily part of her life & her parents exemplified God’s commandments and followed the laws of the Catholic Church in every way. Her mother died when Mom was a senior in high school & her father many years later in 1975.
She married Arthur in 1951, they had four children, three boys & a girl. Art and Fran lived in Warwick, NY for eleven years & then in Boonton, NJ for 27 years prior to moving to Ohio in 1997.
Frances worked for AT&T the last 14 years they were in NJ, then at NCR Country Club for several years here in Ohio. She volunteered at the Ascension Church in Kettering teaching Sunday School. Once at St. Leonard's, she served on the Resident’s Council, volunteered at Gee Gee’s, helped with publications to the residents & also with the residents at San Damiano Memory Care Center. Her service as an Eucharistic Minister was an honor and privilege she treasured for many years.
Fran loved to garden, to try new recipes, to meet new people & to attend the many informative seminars offered to the residents at St. Leonard.
She was preceded in death by her two sons Arthur and Brian and by her sister Jenny Napoli. Frances is survived by her husband Arthur, daughter Jan, son Gregory, eight grandchildren: Joshua, Seth & Jacob Lilburn; Geoffrey, Gregory, Mia, A.J., & Brian Daubert; nine great grandchildren: Olin, Jayden, Caleb, Liam, Neva, Jack, Finn, Emerson and Merida Lilburn, her brother James Caronia and many nephews and nieces.
The Mass for Christian Burial will be held at St. Leonard Chapel on Thursday, Nov. 7th at 11AM, with a brief visitation at the chapel starting at 10:30AM. Arrangements are in care of Morris Sons Funeral Home - Kettering. Online condolences may shared with friends and family at Morris-Sons.com
