Donna Lee Small DeCarbo passed away June 12, 2022.
She was born in Portland, ME December 5, 1940, to Percy and Madonna Small.
Donna grew up in Eliot, ME and graduated from Eliot High School.
She attended nursing school for a awhile and then became a legal secretary.
She met Michael DeCarbo and they were married June 15, 1963.
Donna and her husband Mike, have 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and another great grandchild on the way.
She was an advocate for her favorite charity, “Saint Jude” and faithfully donated often.
She loved all children and they loved her; always full of energy and always a kid at heart.
She loved Jesus, and her catholic faith was very important to her. She attended church weekly and prayed daily for everyone.
Donna was a mini gardener of sorts, always planting tomatoes and peppers every year. She loved to pick them off the vine and cook her favorite meals. She also had beautiful flowers outside all around her home, as they brought her great joy. Her favorite flower was yellow roses. They reminded her of her mom.
Donna loved the yearly Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, and made a point to watch them as often as possible. Donna loved Christmas and baking Christmas cookies.
Her passing has left all our hearts missing her greatly, but knowing she is just around the corner waiting for us and we will see her again someday. God speed Donna - wings of an angel.
Donna is preceded in death by her Father Percy Small, Mother Madonna Small, Brothers Robert and Richard (Dick) Small.
Donna is survived by her husband Mike, 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a sister.
Her family will hold a burial service sometime in September 2022 at the Dayton VA Cemetery.
