Dennis Michael Konkel

Dennis M. Konkel, 65, of Kettering, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 with his family by his side. Dennis was born in Detroit, Michigan.  He graduated from Taylor Center High School and Central Michigan University. He studied Business Administration and enjoyed a successful career as an Investment Professional. Dennis was an intelligent, kind man who loved to joke and laugh. He enjoyed listening to music,  golfing, camping, watching the Buckeyes and the Reds and spending time with his grandchildren and pets.

Dennis was born to the late Robert and Joyce Konkel  and will  be remembered with love by his husband, James P. Belcher; his three children: Ryan (Anna), Michael (Erika), and Lindsay; his two grandchildren; Carter and Claire; brother Chris (Kim) Konkel and sister Michele (Ken) Schweitzer, father-in-law Kenneth Belcher; in-laws David (Theresa) Belcher, Constance (Travis) Greer and Thomas Belcher.  Along with close and special friends Doug Poling, Bob Jennison, David Latta and countless others.

The family will hold private services in his memory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Equitas Health Medical Center (www.Equitashealth.com) and Sicsa Pet adoption and wellness center (www.sicsa.org).  Morris Sons Funeral Home 1771 E Dorothy Lane Kettering, Ohio in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be sent to morris-sons.com
