Debra Louise Harmon

Debra Louise Harmon (Debbie), age 62, of Kettering Ohio passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. 

Debbie is survived by her daughter Heidi Harmon; mother Linda Harmon, grandchildren Tyler (Caitlin) Hardy, Sierrah Hardy, Ethan Hardy and Lucas Hardy; great-granddaughter Olivia Hardy; sisters Laura (Robert) Peterson, Lisa (Del) Buckingham and Sandy (David) Fernalld; nieces Natalie Folino and Melanie LaPrade; nephews Kristopher Fernalld and Matthew Fernalld; and many other extended family and friends. 

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Charles Harmon. 

Debbie liked to travel, enjoyed learning about history and especially loved to go on adventures to new places with family. Debbie had a special affection for birds and spent much time teaching her Green Cheek Conure, "Ducky", to talk. 

Debbie will be remembered as being fiercely independent and admirably strong with a big heart. It was often joked that what she lacked in height, she made up for with bravado. Debbie's infectious smile and spirit for adventure will be missed by family and friends. To know Debbie was to love her. 

Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering, OH. Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 PM. Condolences may be sent to morris-sons.com.
