Claudia Ann Cole

Claudia A. Cole (Moore), 71, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 6th, 2022 at Promedica Rehab Center of Beavercreek. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Claude M. Moore and Georgia (Beall) Moore. On August 12th, 1968 Claudia married Shannon Ray Cole Sr. and on August 12th, 2021 they celebrated 53 years of marriage. 

Claudia was part of a CB club and known to many by her CB handle "Blue Baby". She also held a job as a bus driver for a few years before deciding to be a stay-at-home mom. Later she worked at Taco Bell and then became an office manager at Worden's & Thomas’ Towing. She loved to sing karaoke with her husband and ran a show at Tuty's Bar & Grill. Those who heard her sing said she had the voice of an angel. She loved animals, especially her dogs Sugar and Angel. They were her babies. 

Her family was her life and she loved them dearly. She is preceded in death by her father Claude M. Moore, mother Georgia (Beall) Moore, and brother Danny L. Moore. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Shannon Ray Cole Sr. Her children Johanna (James) Worden, Shannon (Nicole) Cole Jr., Kathleen (Kevin) Egan. Her grandchildren Chantal (James) Worden, Randal (Herence) Worden, Russell Worden, Tanner (Carlos) Cole, Felicity Cole, Danny (Chelsea) Cole, Amanda (Dustin) Newland, Christina Egan. Great Grandkids Justin, Brandon, Nathan, Logan, Dawson, Reagan, Carina, Wesson, Peyton, Ana, Lucas, Sabre, Kaylynn, Kayden, Kayleann, Kayleana, Kaylee, and Kendra and her sister, Terri L. Moore.

The family would like to thank the aides and nurses at Promedica of Beavercreek for everything they did to take care of Claudia while she was in their facility. 

Gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 12th, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio with the service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Byron Cemetery on Trebein Rd in Fairborn. Condolences may be sent to www.morris-sons.com.
