Wendy Sue Jacoby

Wendy Sue Jacoby, age 53 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on October 1, 2016. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy (Leaf) Jacoby. She is survived by her father, Jay Jacoby; her siblings, Maren Presutti, Keith Jacoby, Joanne (Don) Hoops, and Leslie Godzik; nephew Brandon (Kate) Godzik, and nieces Nita Presutti, and Carly (Gabe) Jones; and many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Wendy was a 1981 graduate of Wayne High School in Huber Heights and a graduate of Otterbein College in Westerville, OH. She was a member of the Epsilon Kappa Tau (EKT) Sorority and was blessed to maintain life-long friendships with her very special sorority sisters. She was a long-time employee of Aullwood Audubon Center & Farm as the Gift Shop Manager, but also managed many special events and fundraisers including Birdathon and Breakfast with Woodland Santa. She developed many cherished, close friendships with her co-workers and the myriad of volunteers supporting that organization. She was a member of Sulphur Grove UMC in Huber Heights growing up and considered that as her home church. As her mother did, Wendy loved to travel by land or sea, and was one of the biggest fans of all things Disney!

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the exceptional doctors, nurses, and medical staff who cared for her. And a special thank you to the warm and caring staff of Hospice of Dayton who tended to her so lovingly during her last days with us.
