Stephen J. Bayus

Stephen Bayus Jr. age 70 of Kettering, Ohio passed away Monday, September 10, 2018 at Miller Farms Nursing Home surrounded by his family. Stephen was born in 1947, in Kettering, OH. He attended Ohio State. He served in the Air Force and is a Vietnam veteran. He married Barbara Byrd on November 26, 1971. Stephen was a surveyor and crew chief with Miami Engineering, Shaw, Weiss, and DeNaples, and finished out his long career at Norfleet, Brown & Petkewicz. He is proceeded in death by parents, Mary and Stephen Sr., and brother-in-law Al Scarpelli. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Billy Fantaci of Kettering, Oh.; son, Jason Bayus and partner, Carlos Gil of Brooklyn, New York.; grandchildren, Jewel and Josie Fantaci; sister, Dee Scarpelli.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Delco Park Meeting Place, 1707 Delco Park Dr., Dayton, Oh 45420, Friday September 14, 2018 from 6PM to 9PM. Graveside service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens 8200 W. National Rd, New Carlisle, Oh 45344 Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11AM with Pastor Mark DaGrossa officiating.
