Sharon Bowling Obituary

Sharon Bowling, age 75, formerly of Dayton, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at her home in Summerville, South Carolina. She was born March 17, 1943 in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late Leslie E. and Eula M. (Holt) Orrick.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, William "Nank" Bowling; beloved sons, David and Darryl Bledsoe; brother, Lucian (Faye) Orrick. Sharon is survived by her sister, Patsy (Cliff) Simpson of Mt. Carmel, TN; brothers, Jim (Evelyn) Orrick and Bill (Billie) Orrick of Kingsport, TN; grandchildren, Michael Bledsoe and Bryan Bledsoe of Summerville, SC, and Jeni Lynn Coleman of Dayton, OH; stepdaughter, Rhonda Crain of Florida; former daughter-in-law, Julie Thould of Summerville, SC; niece, Lynn (Larry) Mikesell of Riverside, OH; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Sharon will be fondly remembered for her funny sense of humor and unique style of enjoying life. She and her husband, Nank, were previous owners of The Glass Crutch pub and City Limits Carryout in Dayton. Sharon's most precious memories were the moments she shared with her boys.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at MIAMI VALLEY MEMORY GARDENS, 1639 East Lytle-Five Points Rd, Centerville, OH 45458.
