Patty F. Leaming

Patty F. Leaming, age 73 of Spring Valley, passed away December 20, 2016 at Greene Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born July 13, 1943 in West Liberty, KY to the late James Fugett and Bertie Fugett-Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Warren A. Leaming, whom she married April 1, 1961; 3 sons: Jeff (Gabrielle) of Xenia, Joe (Darlene) of Spring Valley & Mark (Kim) of Xenia; 4 grandchildren: Christopher Leaming, Brian (Becky) Leaming, Joshua Leaming, & Catherine (Allen) Stiffler; 4 great-grandchildren: Colton Leaming, Reese Leaming, Austin Stiffler & Kendall Stiffler; sister, Arlene Thompson of Springfield; sister-in-Law, Mary Morris of Xenia; Brother-in-Law, Don Shaw of South Charleston; many nieces & nephews; extended family members: Susan Nicholas, Emily Sturgeon, Bailey Sturgeon & John Dempsey. Patty had a very strong bond with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 23, 11 am-12 pm at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. Service at 12 noon with Pastor John Lockwood officiating.
