Mary Muran Obituary

MURAN (Wessel), Mary Lou. Age 91, of Beavercreek, passed away Sept. 18, 2018. She is survived by her children Dottie (Mike) Manzo, Joe (Patti), John (Linda), Beth (Chuck) Arnold, Larry (Pam), and Jenny Jamison, as well as 15 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John, parents Edward and Gladys Wessel, brothers Edward and Rev. Lawrence Wessel, sister Joan Ernst, and daughters Carol Muran and Patty Breitenstein. Mary Lou enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cheering for her favorite teams -- especially the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes -- and playing bingo. She was a longtime member of Ascension Catholic Church and more recently was a member at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Many thanks to the staff at Oak Creek Terrace Nursing Home and Hospice of Dayton for their dedicated and compassionate care. Visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 28 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Centerville, OH until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45402. Arrangements entrusted to MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME Kettering.
