Joyce Ellen Kemp

Joyce Ellen Kemp, age 76 of Kettering, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 surrounded by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Veryl and Mary (Ewry)Kinzig, beloved Aunt, Ruth Wheeler. Joyce is survived by her family: husband Roger Kemp, children: Louie & Sherry Kemp, Doug & Michelle Kemp, Cindy McCullough. Grandchildren: Darren Kemp, Amanda Kemp, Mary Renee and Cassidy McCullough and best friend Judy Leiter.

Joyce loved helping others. As an RN, she served the community Blood Center over 25 years. Upon retirement, she volunteered at Children's Medical Center. Blessed to be a grandmother, Joyce spent time attending baseball, field hockey, cheer and band events, always volunteering when needed. She served the Lord and cherished the friendships made within the Presbyterian Women's Association and served as a Stephen Minister. Joyce was a beloved member of the community. May she forever live in our hearts.

Family will receive friends Friday, August 17, 5pm-8pm at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. Funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, August 18 @ Sugarcreek Presbyterian Church, 4417 Bigger Road with Pastor Brad Dardaganian officiating. Burial to follow at Mt Zion Shoup Cemetery.
