LAWLAH, Jacqueline A. (Padgett), age 69, of Dayton OH, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017. She was the daughter of Ralph Williams and Alice Ruth (Fuller) Padgett. Jackie was born and raised in Scranton, PA and graduated from Scranton Technical High School. On class day Jackie won the award for "most talkative" in her senior class. She later moved to Dayton, OH where she lived until her death. She worked at Wright Health as a medical receptionist for many years until her health forced an early retirement. Later she delighted in volunteering at Hannah's Treasure Chest in Centerville, OH until her health made it impossible to continue. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Octavia Padgett, Karen (Padgett) Pottor and Rachel (Jackson) Barrett. She is survived by her children Brenda Maiale, Tony Padgett, Lisa Padgett, and Tracy Lawlah, brother Raymond (Verta) Stackhouse, and sister Deborah (John) Trego, grandchildren Kara, Austin, Aryel, and Kaiden, Aunts Fran, Sandra "Tudy" and Karen Williams, many neices, nephews, cousins and friends. There will be no services at Jackie's request. In 2006 Jackie elected to participate in the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Anatomical Gift Program. It may be as little as a few weeks or as long as 3 years until process is complete and her cremains will be buried in the Rockafield Cemetery at WSU. When that occurs a final tribute honoring Jackie and other donors will occur in a memorial Ceremony of Appreciation. A memorial brick in her name will be placed on the walkway in Rockafield Cemetery.
