Flora Cooper

Flora Mae (Pierce) Cooper, age 84 of Kettering, OH. passed away at Hospice of Dayton on August 8th, 2018. Flora was born in 1933 in Jamestown, TN. to Henry and Sadie Pierce. She married JT Cooper on September 15th, 1951 and then relocated to the Dayton area to raise a family. She enjoyed flowers, bowling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Flora was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Sadie Pierce, her brothers Clayton and Thomas Pierce and her loving husband JT Cooper. Left to honor and remember her love are her siblings, Earnest and Hershel (Betty) Pierce; her three children, Sandra Yates, Vickie (Brian) Bowen, Tammy (Vernon) Cooper-Grant; six grandchildren, Tonya, Allen (Amber), Chrissy, Shana (JR), Chase and Brandon; eight great-grandchildren Cody, Kaitlyn, Dustin, Jonathan, Caylie, Serenity, EmmaJean and Letty, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service in her honor will be 11:00 AM on Monday, August 13, 2018 at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME 1771 E. Dorothy Lane Kettering, Ohio with Pastor Steve Kimpel officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences may be left at Morris-sons.com.
