Arlene Focht

FOCHT, Arlene age 95 of Dayton Ohio passed away Wednesday November 22, 2017. She was born May 4, 1922 in Enterprise, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Naomi Brubaker, five brothers and one sister and also her husband, Earl A. Focht whom she married on Feb. 21, 1942. Arlene graduated from Lanier HS. She was a member of the women's basketball and baseball team; Girls' Glee and Chorus; Junior Class Play and member of the high school operettas. She was a stay at-home Mom and nurses' aide at Miami Valley Hospital. Survived by her children; Daughters Emma Jane (Jesse) Glander of West Alexandria, OH., Janet Focht of Dayton, OH; sons Earl R. (Margie) Focht of Upper Arlington, OH. and Larry (Anne) Focht of Worthington, OH. Grandchildren: Clay (Rachel) Glander; Cheryl (Ray) Waldeck; Cathy (Luis) MacLean; Heather (John) Petzinger; Lindsay (Jon) Lantz; Kristin (Joe) Schwallie; Emily (Philip) Jackson; Abbey (Ben) Snelling: twelve Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM Saturday December 2, 2017 AM at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering Ohio. Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ron Wean officiating. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
