Thomas Joseph Goubeaux

Thomas J Goubeaux, age 85, of Beavercreek passed away Sunday October 27, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Josephine A. Goubeaux (Schockman). Survived by his son, Tim (Mary) Goubeaux;  his daughter, Jo Ann (Bob) Gillispie; grandchildren, Alexi and Adam Pitsinger, Olivia Goubeaux, Josh Gillispie, Kasey and Jeremy Pokorski, Leslie and Kyle Waltz, Beth and Samir Bhatia; Great Grandchildren, Olivia, Elena, Isaac, Eathan, Nayan, Sajel and Leela. 

Tom proudly served a long career in the US Navy, retiring as a Chief Electricians Mate. Tom continued his electrical career and again retiring as an electrician from Children's Medical Center.  Tom and his wife, Josie spent many years in Scouting and enjoyed this time greatly.  Tom enjoyed passing the time quietly carving wood into figures that reflected his journey through life. Tom adored his early years growing up in a large close knit family with his brothers and sisters in Dayton.  Cletus and Mildred are smiling and proud that their children remained close through all these years.  Cletus (Pat) Goubeaux, Bob (Judy) Goubeaux, Helen Goubeaux SND, Leo (Caroline) Goubeaux, Mary Ann (Dick) Seider, Clare (Jim) Mikula, Carl (Sharon) Goubeaux, Millie (Ralph) Eakle, John Goubeaux and Gene (Sherry) Goubeaux, 

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Church of the Ascension. Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church.  Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane in care of arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at Morris-Sons.com.
