Paul Weddell Thatcher

Paul Weddell Thatcher, Sr., age 86 of Kettering, passed away Friday August 9th, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents Dwight D. & Dorothy M. (Schlotterbeck) Thatcher, his wife Sharon the love of his life. He is survived by his daughter Paula (Gary) Salmons, son Paul Jr. (Linda) Thatcher; granddaughters: Marie (Matt) Clark, Melissa (Brian) Neubert, grandsons: Curtis Thatcher, Zachary Thatcher; sister Joann Sprta, brother Dwight D. Thatcher, Jr. Special nephews Jim and Jerry Evans and their families. Former employee of Elder Beerman and Wm. Brockman & Sons. Paul loved fishing, boating and traveling with his wife Sharon. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a Boy Scout Master and friend to his son's Boy Scout Troop. In addition to his family, Paul leaves behind his many friends and their families; and his devoted dog Miss Harley. Special thank you to Kenny & Janey Boyd, staff at Soin & Kettering Medical Center for their care and support. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, August 14, at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering.
