Joseph Bryan Massey

Joseph “Bryan” Massey, age 49 of Dayton passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019. He was diagnosed with cancer on April 1, 2019. After only a brief but painful 90 day battle, he died peacefully in his sleep with his family at his side and returned to the Lord. He was born in 1970, the son of Marcella (Whitis) Litton and Joseph G Massey. He is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, Kristi (Walker) Massey; two daughters, Brittany and Emily Massey; his sister, Meshell Massey (North Dakota) and both of his parents, mother - Marcella (Whitis) Litton and father - Joseph G. Massey and wife LuAnn Massey (Port Charlotte, FL). A memorial service will be held for him, 1:00 PM, Friday, July 12, 2019 at Morris Sons Funeral Home 1771 E. Dorothy Lane in Kettering OH. with Rev. Charles Wright officiating and friend, Jeff Class speaking. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (12:00 - 1:00) at the funeral home. His favorite quote was Carpe Diem (seize the day) and hopefully we all follow his awesome example and do just that. Bryan’s wishes were in lieu of flowers that donations be made to a fund set up for his daughters, Brittany and Emily to assist with college expenses. There are two ways to donate.
