Janet M. (Lickliter) Bourne

Janet M. Bourne of Oakwood, Ohio passed away peacefully on November 18, 2018, at the age of 65, after a long battle with cancer. Janet was born to the late Robert and Margaret (Bruns) Lickliter II of Xenia, Ohio. She was a 1970 graduate of Beavercreek HS and graduated from Sinclair Community College. After working at Sinclair for 10 years as the secretary to the president, Janet took a few years off to raise her family. She then began her 20-year career as the administrative assistant at Edwin D. Smith Elementary School in Oakwood. Janet was also involved with the Girl Scouts for many years as Troop co-leader and Tri-Oak District organizer. Her love and dedication to her family, friends and the Oakwood community has left an immeasurable impact; she will be missed by all. Janet is survived by her husband Harry, daughters Sarah and Erin, stepsons Lee (Tina Kilmer) and Tony, stepdaughter Jenny, brother Robert (Tammy) Lickliter III, and brother-in-law Raymond Bourne. She is survived by her grandchildren Rylee and Sophie Perry, Tyler and Jason Bourne, Graham Bourne, Alissa Bourne and Ashleigh Benge. Visitation is 4-7 PM, Monday, November 26, 2018 at Morris Sons Funeral Home 1771 East Dorothy Lane in Kettering, Ohio. Funeral Service 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 27th at Davids Cemetery Mausoleum with Rev. Jack Koepke Officiating.
