Frances E. (Perry) Gibson

GIBSON, Frances (Dot) E., age 95, of Tipp City, Ohio, formerly of Kenova, West Virginia & Fairborn, passed peacefully April 20th, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil (Tob) Gibson in 1983; son, James Garrett in 2009 and daughter Pamela Sue in 2019. She is survived by her cousins, Nancy (Looney) Terry Sullivan of Hillsboro OH., Debbie (Looney) Steve Martin of California, nephew, Garry and Marsha and their daughter Kate Lanham of Olmstead Falls, Ohio; close friends Cindy and Bill Alles from Beavercreek, Kathy and Garrett Taylor from Tipp City, and Diana McAfee family in Springfield Ohio. Frances retired from Wright Patterson AFB with 30 years of service in the Programming and Scheduling section of the 2750th CES.  Dot volunteered in the Tipp City Senior Center and her Church, The First United  Church of Christ and touched many with her kindness and talents in hand made quilts, paintings and many other crafts. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairborn, OH. with Rev. Lauren Allen officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dot's honor to The First United Church of Christ in Troy.
