Eileen Askren Obituary
Eileen C. Askren, 89, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 17, 2018. Retired from Ohio Bell Telephone in 1988 with 29 years of service. She was a life member of Telephone Pioneers of America, Ohio Valley and a member of CWA-RMC, Local 422. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Clark (Gary); granddaughter, Lesa Hamilton (Ken); grandson, John Moberly (Becky); her cherished great granddaughter, Taylor Moberly, brother-in-law, Jerry Hatton and many nieces and nephews. A very special thanks to Marsha, her nurse at Brighton Gardens and Sarah, her Hospice nurse, for providing her with gentle, loving care in her final months.
Funeral will be held 12:00 Noon, Friday, November 23, 2018 at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E Dorothy Lane, Kettering, Ohio 45429. Family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45409. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton, envelopes will be provided at the service. Online condolences may be left at morris-sons.com.
