Cristobal Mino Obituary

Cristobal Mino age 82 of Tipp City, OH. passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018. Cristobal was born in 1936 in Ecuador, South America and was raised in Lima, Peru. He immigrated to the United States in 1957 and served in the United States of America Armed Forces. He worked for General Motors for 32 years.  He was preceded in death by his father (Manual Mino), his mother (Mercedes Jaramillo), sisters (Carmela & Micaela), brother (Rolando) and step-son (Patricio).  Survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Maggie Mino, who for the last 10 years was his sole caregiver. He is survived by his four daughters, Theresa, Jeannette, Cristina, Mica (Chris), his son, Christopher, his step-daughters, June (Kenneth), Cora, and Jennifer (Charles), his sister, Gladys Mino and multiple nephews and nieces. Between Cristobal and Maggie, there are 24 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  Cristobal loved music, dancing, friends, family, hunting and fishing. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved spending time at his cabin at Burr Oak Lake. He had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party.  His presence will be sorely missed by his family and friends.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Friday, December 14, at Morris Sons Funeral Home 1771 E. Dorothy Lane in Kettering.  Service to follow at 1:00 with Pastor Nick Osborn officiating. Food and fellowship to follow at David's Cemetery Mausoleum 4600 Mad River Rd, Dayton. Donations in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Dayton. Memorial condolences may be sent to www.morris-sons.com.
