Matthew Douglas Cumpston

CUMPSTON, Matthew Douglas, age 36 of Springfield, OH. passed away unexpectedly, Friday, June 1, 2018 at his residence. He was preceded in death by grandparents: Charles and Jean Schar, grandmother: Gussy Holden, grandfather: Glenn Cumpston, one aunt and one uncle.

Matthew is survived by his father: Doug (Julie) Cumpston of Milledgeville, Georgia, mother: Lorna Worley of Bellbrook, OH., children: Aundreah, Nicholas and Zachary Cumpston, Aunts and Uncles: Tim and Ann Schar, Mark Schar, Randy and Sheryl Schar; Brothers Scott Cumpston and Ben Cumpston; 2 Dogs: Skylet and Jade; his best friend Eric Sharp, and numerous friends and family members.

Matt was an electrician and currently employed at Acme Electric in Springfield, OH. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, camping, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was an assistant coach for Clark Shawnee Braves youth wrestling and enjoyed spending time with his children, friends and his dogs.

The family would appreciate in lieu of flowers - memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to offset expenses.
