Johanna Thompson Obituary

THOMPSON, Johanna E., age 82, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, G.A. "Hank" Thompson; daughter, Alyssa (Kurt) Alexander; 2 grandchildren, Kara and Sean Alexander; and cousin, Mary Johnson. Johanna graduated from Fairview-White High School and Bowling Green State University where she was a proud member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She was a teacher for 25 years, a member of the 20th Century Club and the History Club and the Secretary/Treasurer of the Greenfield Historical Society. Visitation 1-2pm with funeral service at 2pm Wednesday, September 21 at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. Pastor Gayle Browne officiating. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1003 N. North St.,Washington Court House, OH 43160.
