Clifford Ash Obituary

ASH, Clifford, age 92, formerly of Kettering, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Ash. He is survived by his son and daughter-in law, Jim and Donna Ash; grandchildren: Derek (Lisa) Ash, Jason (Victoria) Ash and Emily (Denny) Tsakalis; great-grandchildren: Sarah Ash, Claire Ash, Collin Ash and Sophia Tsakalis; 7 siblings: Loudema Bloomer, Rachel Bledsoe, Glen Ash, Paul Ash, James Gilbert "Jr." Ash, Verlin Ash and Marie Hensley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clifford was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the South Pacific in WWII. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was an avid bowler and loved horse racing but loved spending time with his family most of all. Visitation 12-1pm Friday, November 25 with funeral beginning at 1pm at MORRIS SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering. Burial at David's Cemetery, Kettering. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 6500 Busch Blvd., Suite 210, Columbus, Ohio 43229.
